Scenic Views

Last week Cathy and I went to the Beal Family Reunion in Idaho. On the way to the reunion, we passed through Montana which was just beautiful. On the way back, we took the scenic route around the Cascades in northern Washington. That was beautiful as well. We were surprised at all the apple trees. They must have lined the road for 100 miles. No wonder Washington State is known for its apples. It also produces more potatoes than anywhere else in the country.

Beautiful Montana.

Amber waves of grain and purple mountains' majesty.

Unusual terrain in Washington. Notice the apple trees. They were everywhere.

Looks like Arizona here.

North Cascades. Gorgeous!

Check out the color of this lake. I have never seen this shade of green. Stunning.
