Temple Service

Last night Mom and I were called to serve as ordinance workers for two years in the Seattle Temple. We are thrilled. We have looked forward to this for some time. This will dovetail nicely with my visits to the PLF Bellevue Ofiice. We will do a 4pm to 10pm shift on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings every other week. We feel very blessed that circumstances allow us to serve.

ATV Action at the Jensen's!

Riding in a "gator"! It was very chilly, but totally fun.
Alan receiving instruction from Jerry before he and Amara took off!
Here's Anna raring to go!
Kristina had obviously done this before. She's going so fast that she's a blur!

Riding with the wind!

Ethan's favorite activity at Bywater--riding on the "train". He wasn't done until all the adults drove the tractor!
Alan is in a state of total euphoria driving up the hill!
Kristina looks relaxed at the wheel.

Hiking at Ft. Ebey State Park

Aunt Janet with Amara. It was cold and we were all bundled up.
Ethan's hiking the easy way--on Kristina's back!
This is a great beach--real waves and sand. And the beach actually smells like the ocean!
Here's Ethan watching the waves.
Uncle Dick, Jonathan and Anna watching Ethan hunt for rocks.

Friday Harbor

Here's Ethan and Grandpa enjoying a stroll on the dock. Note the ferry in the background. This is the Yakima, one of the larger ferries in Washington State Ferries fleet.
Is this a happy boy or what?
Here's a happy crew. We'd just had lunch and we're waiting for the ferry to take us back to Anacortes.
More of the happy crew!
Alan taking a siesta after lunch with Amara keeping an eye on him.

Snowy Day at Bywater

Today we woke up to Bywater dressed in white! We've been waiting since November for a really good snowstorm and last night was it. Snow was everywhere. We were out in it just before dawn and Dad took some great photos.
