Mom and I walked along the beach today and took in the sights. The eagles were playing and chattering overhead and the clouds were pink from sunlight. It was beautiful. But I am always amazed at how little actual sea life we see. We see more mammals than fish. But today we caught a few glimpses. We found a star fish on the water's edge which we examined then tossed back in. We also found a grouping of small but gorgeous anemones. Like the picture below, they have bright green (almost neon) arms that sway in the water. Fascinating to watch. I still have my eye open for whales.
