Oak Harbor

Well, we are mostly moved in. We have most of our stuff (still one more trip to make) and lots of boxes to unpack. But the past two weeks have been fantastic. The kids came to visit. We had a great time and learned some new skills. We've learned to kayak and crab and can even identify an eagle call. The house is delightful with a beautiful view and lots of space and a wonderful setting. It really was great to have the kids here and to enjoy their company. We enjoyed our daily walks to the cove where we launched our boats and sunk to our knees in the soft sand and watched the tide go in and out. Not to mention just sitting and taking in the scenery. Things are quieter now that the kids have gone. We will miss them very much. We already look forward to their future visits.
