Last weekend, we viewed the house and walked down to the cove where the tide was out and the water was as calm as a pond--just waiting for a kayak or two. With the islands and Olympics in the background, the scene was gorgeous. As we stood at the water's edge, a pair of eagles flew by not ten feet from us. Front of House.Note: Interestingly, we just won a suit against the government for failing to delist the bald eagle as an endangered species. Years ago the Fish and Wildlife Service determined the eagle had made a comeback but the agency took no action to change the bird's status. This is a recovery success story.
